The site:
The wedding is going to be held at the Mount Vernon Country Club. The club was established in 1922 and is located 17
miles west of Denver. The Clubhouse overlooks the city lights of Denver, Clear Creek Canyon, Lookout Mountain, and
Genesee Mountain.
The ceremony will be held on the main floor of the country club, on its spacious and charming balcony. This balcony is a recent addition to the facility, and overlooks a nicely landscaped nook as well as offering a view of lookout mountain, and Denver. We have reserved the entire third floor of the country club for our reception. After you ascend the 
stairs, you will be immediately greeted by the buffet and dance floor, as well as a cute bar nook and fireplace. We will
be dining in the Aspen room, which has an extensive balcony stretching around it facing south and east with a beautiful
view of extensive meadows, the plains to the south, and Genesee Mountain. Across the center room is the Board Room, which
we will be using as a cocktail room. The Board Room faces north and east, and also has an extensive balcony outside, which
means we will basically have access to a 360 degree view of the area. The Board Room balcony provides an incredible view.
From I-70 / Denver: From westbound I-70 out of Denver exit at Genesee (exit 254). Turn right (north) onto Mt. Vernon Country Club Rd. at the top of the exit ramp. Proceed straight through the flashing yellow caution light. Proceed straight for approximately 1 mile. The road will make a sharp right turn. The club will be on the left shortly after the road turns. Alternatively, from westbound I-70, get off at exit 256. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp. Immediately turn left onto the frontage road (US-40). Turn right on S. Lookout Mountain Rd. Take the first left onto Mt. Vernon Country Club Rd. (there is a wooden sign above the road). The club will be up the road 3/4 miles on the right. From Boulder: Head to Broadway (usually by going west from most places in Boulder). Proceed south on Broadway out of Boulder (the mountains should be on the right). Broadway turns into CO-93. Proceed south on CO-93 for approximately 15 miles (into Golden). CO-93 becomes US-6 at the stoplight at the mouth of Clear Creek Canyon. Proceed straight through the stoplight on CO-93/US-6. Turn right onto Heritage Rd. after 2 ¼ miles (the Jefferson County Justice Center is on the left). After 1 mile Heritage Rd. merges into W Colfax Ave. (Heritage Square is on the right). Merge onto westbound I-70 at the stoplight at the top of the hill approximately 1 mile after Heritage Rd. Follow the directions for westbound I-70. From Louisville / Superior: Start by going south on McCaslin Blvd. Turn right onto W. 120th Ave. / CO-128 at the T intersection. Proceed west on CO-128 for approximately 5 miles and turn left onto CO-93. Follow the directions from Boulder for south on CO-93.
